Team IOTA – Quick Response Team (QRT)
Assisting in the Health and Growth of Existing Incubators

Team IOTA is dedicated to assisting not only the commencement process of a business incubation program but in the health and growth of existing incubators. We use every best practices resource available. We are convinced that the business incubation industry is the best kept secret in the economic development arsenal of weapons to revitalize, rejuvenate or even resurrect a static or declining economy. Time after time business incubators have guided the generation of numerous start-up companies that have grown to be staples within a community, region, state and the country. Yet at the same time Team IOTA has found that some business incubators run into problems and they themselves hit the proverbial wall and just don’t know how to “pull out of the funk”.

Additionally, Team IOTA has found that more times than not those incubators that are truly wondering if they should stay open or not, or have stakeholders questioning whether funding should continue or not, can actually be saved. If we tried to list the reasons for a business incubator’s decline, or in some cases never taking off at all, we would have to add an entire page. Each case is different. That is why Team IOTA formed the Quick Response Team (QRT). The QRT offers one-on-one team interaction to evaluate your program, examine the history of the formation, review personnel, review policies, procedures and protocols, create an action plan and then mentor you through the restructuring process. Each evaluation is contracted on a per project basis as some projects will only require two of our QRT members; others may need the expertise of more.
